Belgrade

Although Serbia is not presently a full member of the EU, they do accept the Euro (1 Euro equals approximately 87 dinar (CSD)). It is not hard to find people who speak English, especially in areas frequented by tourists. The international airport in Belgrade has connections to most major European cities.

Marathoning in Belgrade goes back to 1910 when a race was run from Obrenovac to Belgrade. The present event includes a Children's Marathon, a fun run, a half marathon as well as the full marathon.
