Palais de ChaillotBuilt in 1937 as a highlight for the last French colonial exhibition. Today it houses a naval museum, a museum of mankind and a large theater that is dedicated to cultural programming. The surrounding gardens, named Trocodéro in memory of troops who fought to victory over the Spanish in 1823. The view of the Eiffel Tower from these gardens is spectacular, especially at night. |
