Chaillot Refreshment Station
With the Eiffel Tower looming high from across the river, the large square at the Trocodéro and Palace of Chaillot hosts a Refreshment Station. At roughly the 30KM mark, it provides much more than just water and food. How about a message for your legs? You can even take a quick spin on a Merry Go Round (if you do that, you lose any chance you ever had of being considered a real marathoner - but you could do it). The plaza is large and provides plenty of room for others to continue on through without stumbling over cross traffic. |
