Start Staging Area
Staging for the Paris Marathon is at the head of the Champs Élysées, leading away from the Arc du Triomphe. The colored stripe down the side of your bib number designates the pace group you signed up for when you registered. Matching markers along the side of the avenue show the position for your group. You will also see pace runners with appropriately colored balloons among the runners. They will be running at the correct pace for each group. Non runners should stay on the sidewalks along the avenue since the start area is fenced. For more information about the Start Area, return to the Paris Map and select the start rectangle. (rs) |
