Along the River Seine
Friends look down over the runners and cheer as they pass. Tour boats slow to let passengers watch. At the 26K mark, a team of photographers click shots of the runners framed in front of bridges. And, ahead of the pack, we can make out the shape of the Eiffel tower. A cool, gentle breeze comes down the river, just enough to be refreshing.
